I wrote a couple of poems to Facebook several weeks ago.  I quickly realized that these poems will be lost if I do not save them somewhere else.  I am going to copy and paste them here for easier access...

Small and frail you depend on me
massive stature, tall and free
The epitome of safety,
hiding in my wings

I carry you in my care
Like a precious heirloom, I will keep you there
Warmth and love I will provide
Giving all I can to peace abide

Confusion, manipulation
You will not know
Your emotions free to let go
Your life is won for all to see
If only she would set you free

I smile because you require it,
I hide the pain inside of it.
I walk the days in spite of it,
the misery there.
To yearn to share it,
to wonder if you'll help carry it,
And the burden of the weight of it.
Im all bruised and battered wondering,
will you help it heal?

They are not remarkable in any way, but they are my feelings at the time I was feeling it.  I love to express my thoughts and feelings in words on the printed page.  It is like cheap therapy and it helps me.
